My first basic lessons
of humanity, intuition,
perception and reasoning were gleaned in the
beautiful environs of Chandigarh, North India, where
I was born to an artist mother and a bureaucrat father, one summer
evening on the 24th of May.
Living
for a while in the hostel between shimmering snow clad peaks and
mountain scent, I participated in dramatics, debates, declamations,
music, dance, headed the base ball team, won art competitions,
took the first lessons in French and became the school prefect.
The latter part of my schooling was in
Modern School, New Delhi, India.
My
talent in art soon earned me a reputation in the schools I went
and therefore, for my formal training in fine arts, I enrolled
as a student in the prestigious College of Art, New Delhi. For
four years, under the close guidance of some of the most well
known artists' of India, I learnt about photography, etching,
silkscreen, lithography, designing, clay modeling, and sculpture.
My devotion earned me a degree in first class.
I
now live in the midst of the arty culture of Europe and paint
the stories from my imagination at my Studio in Kensington, London,
U.K.
My life palette radiates beauty, happiness, contentment and hope.
