Works
on oil sheets and other materials
|
|
|
|
These
works are straight from the deep recesses of my subconscious
and therefore
most dear to me. They are simple images of my imagination. The thought
behind them comes and disappears sooner than the blink of my
eyes. In
these spontaneous works I follow only one technique, that of "my instinct". |

Double
faced
25-17.5 cms/ oil sheet; 1999. |
| In
this painting I have tried to depict a thought, not a portrait.
Often it's our heart that is double-faced. It says something
and moments later its completely in denial, leaving us in a
state of confusion. |

Twins
7-10"/ oil sheet; 1999. |
| "Twins"
here stands for the twin personality human beings have. One
is what others perceive of us and the other is what we think
of ourselves…and often the contradiction between the two surprises
us |
